    Waited a long time to catch Mike live and finally did in Nashville at the Bluebird in Feb. Front row at a great show. And what made it special was that I was able to be there with my son and his girlfriend who are now both Mike Henderson fans. Great to see Pat on drums again after not seeing him since 1991 with the Belairs (in Lawrence, KS).

    Waited a long time to catch Mike live and finally did in Nashville at the Bluebird in Feb. Front row at a great show. And what made it special was that I was able to be there with my son and his girlfriend who are now both Mike Henderson fans. Great to see Pat on drums again after not seeing him since 1991 with the Belairs (in Lawrence, KS).

    First got turned on to Henderson and that nasty silvertone sound with the Snakes...it was a YIPES for me....favorite blues artist for me was/is Little Walter Jacobs so hearing Mike with that Lousiana saxophone made it even better...had to get everything by him ...took a while to pick up the Bel Aires LP which is only on vinyl on Blind Pig...worth the search...an original and one of the best for sure ! Glad he is back doing the bluz ! MW
